This week we read some beautiful books about Thanksgiving and being thankful. During Library time, Ms. Ogura read us
The Thankful Book, by Todd Parr. The children wrote thankful poems, made handprint turkeys, and patched together their very own paper 'Thankful Quilt'.

This afternoon we made friendship fruit salad. We are grateful for our friends and family. The kids were so excited to share their fruits for the salad. It was wonderful to see so many of you at school today, moms, dads, grandmas, caregivers and siblings. Thank you all for coming! We hope you enjoyed the ipad messages on the smart board and the
Apples and Bananas song the class learned in Music with Ms. Morgan. Have a wonderful Thanksgiving and enjoy the long weekend.
